Singing Digest Issue Two: What Does It Take To Reach Your Singing Goals?

There are two parts to creating the Singing voice you've always wanted.

Part 1) Knowing what to do

Part 2) Doing it

You can work harder and longer than anyone else on the planet but if you don't know exactly what to do how will you get there?

There is no magic bullet or holy grail to singing.

Well actually there is a holy grail to Singing. It is the process of knowing what to do, how to do it and then doing it.

Learn what to do and HOW to do it is the key that most people don't get.

They work for years and years doing the same thing, expecting a different result and being frustrated that it is so hard.

They don't take lessons, or buy a CD program when they need to learn what to do. They don't get help when they are lost. They just bang harder on the same old nail.

The first thing we'll be addressing is:

1) WHAT TO DO and how to do it.

This process will take you months and years. I know this because I've seen many Singers with the best techniques and it still takes them months and years.

( You need to know this )

But this just makes the journey so much more fulfilling when you arrive at the landmarks. It has been SO fulfilling for me and many of the Singers I've had the fortune of working with.

The other part ' Doing It ' we'll also be addressing. We'll show you to the best of our ability how to 'do it'.

First you need to know what to do and how to do it. But if you don't apply it and apply it correctly it is useless information.

To summarize, we've talked about knowing:

A) What to do
and
B) Doing it!

You'll need to 'Do it' consistently. Every day. Six days a week. I recommend that you 'Do it' with one day off a week and two weeks off a year. Starting with 20-30 minutes per day and get up to an hour or two a day when you're more advanced.

So be prepared for this.

When TO Expect These Digest Issue

We're planning to send each new subscriber to Singing Digest about 9 ( or so ) sequential Digest issues. This is number two in that series. You'll want to keep these and re-read them. These will be the same for each Singer regardless of when they join.

In addition we're also planning on sending out a monthly ( or so ) Digest to share new development, singing videos and articles on singing that you can use to create the singing voice you've always wanted.

Be patient with your voice, this is a process so make it fun! It takes time and work but putting love and fun into it is THE most important thing. It is about enjoying the journey.
