Toronto Singer : How long is each Singing lesson?

Toronto Vocal Teacher : I work differently from many teachers. While many Singing teachers today run you through stuff over and over again I work at effecting a change each week in the Singer's voice.

I help the Singer experience the new change that they need and then send them home to integrate it. It takes 5-10 minutes to make the change. Sometimes I can make it right away, other times it it takes me 30 minutes to get there. I allocate up to 45 min per lesson.

Once we've accomplished the goal I'll send the Singer home to work on it if in their best interest instead of filling their head with more than they are ready for. Most often lessons run between 30-45 minutes.

Toronto Singer : This makes sense to me because I don't want to fill my head with more than I'm ready for at that moment. I find the best learning for me is straight and to the point.

Toronto Vocal Teacher : I do what is best for the Singer each time and don't waste their time or energy especially if it would take them away from the goal.

A key to success in anything is effectiveness and efficiency.

I compare it to if you're going to a Surgeon, you want one that is highly efficient and a master at what they do. You want them to go straight to what's needed, make the change and send you home to rest and integrate.

Toronto Singer : I realize that there are things that I need to change in my voice but don't know what they are or how to implement the changes.

Toronto Vocal Teacher : In your Singing lesson I'll teach you how to work with your 'inner' vocal coach and you'll discover how your voice truly was designed to work. I'll teach your inner vocal coach what changes are needed and how to make them. Then you'll be empowered to make the same changes yourself.

This is one of the reasons these modern techniques stand far above most vocal singing teaching methods used by other teachers today, they are not based on how much you sing but how much you change.

How to Compress TEN years of Vocal Growth into just a few

Toronto Vocal Teacher : This is exactly how Singers can compress ten years of vocal growth into just a few years when they follow the progam and are consistent with their coach and homework.

Toronto Singer :I'm inspired about developing my new singing voice!

Toronto Vocal Teacher : I feel the same way! It is a lot of fun and very gratifying.

Remember that developing your singing voice is a process. I believe that anyone can develop ANY voice they desire if they do the right things consistently.

This is VERY different from the 100 years old traditional vocal training methods that claimed that change was slow and you had to already possess a great singing voice.

Developing your singing voice is a process.

Remember, change in your singing voice after all is the untimate goal of each session ( as well as are pleasure, fun and inspiration ).

The Process :

First we make the change and get you to experience singing with it. This is fun.

Then your homework is to integrate it.

In the next session we'll make another change. The one that is needed at that moment.

Then you'll go home to integrate it.

Lather, rinse and repeat until you've met all of your singing goals.
